Symbolizing the beauty of nature, this piece aims to represent the queer community from the ones that participated in the Boston Marathon since its  beginning, to ones who will for years to come. Flowers of the same species  illustrate the hue of the Philadelphia Pride Flag, showing that within a single species no two individuals are alike, but all are beautiful,resilient, and unique in their own way. They stem from a golden vine that follows the route of
the Boston Marathon across its 8 cities, indicated by the clay flowers, is a nod to the human roots that connect us all.
